Oversee Aquisition

merger

Moniker.com and Oversee.net. have agreed to join forces and provide the very best and most complete suite of domain name related services in the industry. You can learn more about the company at www.oversee.net.

We were attracted to Oversee for many reasons, including the opportunity to offer our customers a greater breadth of service offerings. As you may know, one of Oversee's companies is SnapNames.com, the operator of the largest auction of expired and deleting names. The combination of Oversee's services, SnapNames' auction capabilities, and Moniker's services brings all our customers a menu of services that support needs throughout the life cycle of a domain name, including procurement, monetization and sales.

The impact of this transaction on you will be minimal. There will be no changes to Moniker's registration, renewal, appraisal, escrow, brokerage, and buying services. The only immediate change you'll see is through our TrafficClub monetization service: DomainSponsor, Oversee's domain monetization service, will be added as an available monetization option.

There is more information available in the FAQs below. As always, you may contact your account executive with any additional questions. Our team is reachable here:

Thank you again for your business, and we look forward to continuing to serve your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What will change about the way I do business with Moniker?
The only immediate change will be the addition of DomainSponsor as an available option for monetization services. The longer-term and more impactful change will be the opportunity to have an integrated, auction-based sales system available through SnapNames when it's time to sell your name.

What about parking my names?
TrafficClub will continue to offer alternative parking services. Clients will be offered the choice to continue the rotation service, or move to a direct relationship with DomainSponsor. Moniker account teams will continue to be available to service your accounts.

Will Moniker continue handling auctions at Internext, TRAFFIC and other events?
Yes. However, SnapNames will handle online auctioning for these events.
At DOMAINFest Global in January 2008, SnapNames Live will handle the auction, with Moniker providing valuation and escrow services. Moniker and SnapNames will be working to collaborate at the TRAFFIC event in February and beyond, and will announce further details in the coming weeks.

How will Moniker and SnapNames work together on domain name auctions?
SnapNames is the industry's acknowledged leader in expiring and deleting name auctions, and has recently begun offering auction sales services for actively registered name holders. SnapNames will also conduct the SnapNames Live auction at DOMAINFest Global in Hollywood, Calif., in January 2008.
Moniker offers a range of services including appraisal, escrow, brokerage and live auction services. The company is well known and regarded in the industry.
Moniker and SnapNames will work together to offer auction sellers and buyers the best of both services' capabilities.

Will Moniker and SnapNames operations merge?
Moniker will continue to be headquartered in Florida, and SnapNames maintains its headquarters in Oregon. Their businesses will be independently run by existing management. They will collaborate to offer customers a wider array of auction services, and otherwise will work within the Oversee.net family to offer additional services that support needs throughout the life cycle of a domain name (including procurement, monetization and sales).

Will there be any changes to SnapNames' services?
No. SnapNames, with its partners, will continue to be responsible for the supply of names. There will be no changes to how SnapNames does business with its partners and customers.
SnapNames will be working with Moniker to offer existing Moniker services to its customers, including appraisal, escrow and other services. We'll announce these services as they become available in the coming weeks.

How will customers who may be Oversee's competitors be treated?
They'll receive the same quality of service they did prior to the merger. Our relationships with our customers will not change.

Who will provide customer service?
Moniker will continue to offer customer support for the services it offers, as will SnapNames. However, one of the reasons for the transaction is the opportunity to efficiently provide customers of all Oversee companies with additional services, so we anticipate that other services will be available to you in the near future.

Will I have to learn a new system, or re-create my account, or do anything else with Moniker as a result of the merger?
No. From your point of view as a customer, there are no changes at all. It will be business as usual with Moniker, SnapNames, DomainSponsor or any other provider.

Is Moniker's management staying on?
Yes. Monte Cahn remains President and has agreed to a multi-year commitment with the company. The Moniker team will continue to run Moniker from its Florida headquarters.
